Program Learning Outcomes (PLO)
Program Learning Outcomes in the 2020 and 2023 Curriculum
The Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) of the History Education Study Program have been formulated in accordance with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (IQF) Level 6-equivalent to a bachelor’s degree qualification-and are guided by the National Standards for Higher Education (SN-DIKTI) as mandated in Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 of 2020. The PLO consist of four components: attitudes, knowledge, general skills, and specific skills. The detailed descriptions of the Graduate Learning Outcomes are presented in the following table.
- Demonstrate behavior that reflects the values of Pancasila and the spirit of waja sampai kaputing (perseverance until the end) in person and social life
- Demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and innovation in the field of education, both indepently and in teams
- Able to apply scientific methods logically, critically, and systematically as a basis for decision-making in problem-solving
- Able to utilize information and communication technology to enhance work effectiveness and efficiency
- Able to adapt and work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings
- Able to demonstrate reflective historical pedagogy skills in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning to improve the achievement of learning objectives
- Able to use relevant historical sources to develop historical studies
- Able to conduct research in the fields of history education, historical scholarship, and other social sciences
- Able to analyze the relevance of learning materials based on pedagogical principles for the development of contextual history learning
- Able to apply historical thinking skills in examining historical facts
- Able to reconstruct local, national, and regional historical events using social, cultural, economic, and political concepts and theories
Program Learning Outcomes in the Curriculum 2025
The Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) of the History Education Study Program are formulated with reference to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (IQF) Level 6, which is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree qualification, and the National Standards for Higher Education (SN-DIKTI) as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology No. 53 of 2023. In addition to these two regulations, the formulation of the learning outcomes also refers to the Tuning Education Structure for the History Subject Area developed by CLIOH (Creating Links and Innovative Overviews to Enhance Historical Perspective in European Culture). - Graduates demonstrate a professional attitude in performing their work, applying social and humanities theories, and utilizing scientific approaches to analyze and solve problems in their field of expertise.
- Graduates show creativity and innovation, able to analyze learning components based on reflective pedagogy principles, and manage as well as develop contextual and sustainable learning. They are also capable of effectively using digital technology to support the learning process.
- Graduates are able to internalize the values of Pancasila in work carried out independently or collaboratively, while understanding social and humanities concepts and theories as a foundation for analyzing and solving problems in the field of history and education.
- Graduates are capable of examining valid sources based on scientific principles, understanding historical reasoning, and effectively utilizing digital technology to produce innovative studies and products that meet societal needs.
- Graduates, both independently and collaboratively, are able to develop creative products for educational and community empowerment needs, effectively use digital technology to support these processes, and embody the spirit of waja sampai kaputing (persevering until the end).
