The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, successfully held the Grand Final of the 2025 FKIP Ambassador Selection in a lively atmosphere at Tumpang Lima Field, FKIP ULM. This prestigious event served as a platform for students to showcase their best qualities, not only in academic achievement but also in leadership, communication skills, and social awareness. The event, which began at 9:00 a.m. WITA, was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Rachman, S.Pd., M.Pd., who encouraged all participants to uphold togetherness, maintain the good reputation of FKIP, and continue striving for excellence. The event was also attended by the Head of Student Affairs and Alumni Division, Hj. Rabiatul Adawiyah, M.Pd., members of the judging panel consisting of FKIP ULM lecturers, as well as invited representatives from student organizations within FKIP ULM.
The selection process for the 2025 FKIP Ambassadors was conducted in a highly competitive manner. Participant registration was open from June 11 to 16, followed by a Technical Meeting on June 18 to provide technical guidance. On June 20, a total of 46 students from various study programs participated in written tests and interviews, resulting in the selection of 30 participants or 15 ambassador candidate pairs. The selection continued on June 21 with a talent performance stage that showcased the participants’ outstanding creativity. From this stage, 16 best participants, or 8 finalist pairs, were selected to advance to the Grand Final held on June 28. The spirit of continuous growth, achievement, and inspiration characterized the entire process, reflecting FKIP ULM’s strong commitment to nurturing future educators who are excellent, well-rounded, and ready to contribute to society.
