As part of the 2025 History Week of the History Education Students, FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, an annual program organized by HIMASE, the Local History Storytelling Competition for Senior High School and equivalent levels was held under the theme “Exploring Local History through Storytelling to Strengthen the Identity of the Young Generation.” The event took place on September 15, 2025, at the Senate Meeting Room of the ULM Rectorate. This competition served as a platform for young generations to explore historical events and figures of South Kalimantan, ranging from the Banjar War period to the late New Order era.
Congratulations to the winners: First Place (Adelya Almaghvira – SMAN 1 Banjarmasin), Second Place (Nailah Azmi – MAN 3 Banjarmasin), Third Place (Reany Fathinah Nuraini – SMKN 4 Banjarmasin), and Favorite Participants (Aulia N. Nguwung – SMA Frater Don Bosco Banjarmasin & Nur Azka Tsurraya – MAS Ibtidaussalam).
The organizing committee extends sincere appreciation to all participants for their enthusiastic participation and valuable contributions to the success of this event. Let us continue to promote and preserve the spirit of local history in order to strengthen the identity of the young generation of South Kalimantan.
