An international student exchange program for prospective teachers was once again conducted this year. In 2025, nine students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) were selected to participate in the SEA Teacher Program, organized by SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization).
The official send-off ceremony was held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Utility Building Meeting Room. The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Deasy Arisanty, and was attended by representatives of the MBKM unit, UPKH, UPM, as well as departmental representatives. In her remarks, Deasy encouraged the students to uphold the good name of themselves, the university, and the nation throughout the program.
One of the SEA Teacher participants is Rudy Mahmudi, a student of the History Education Department, ULM. Together with eight other students from various teacher education programs, he will undertake the one-month program at Iloilo Science and Technology University and the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) in the Philippines.
