Course Distribution in the 2025 Curriculum
Students of the History Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, are required to complete a minimum of 144 credits (SKS) out of a total of 160 credits offered, ideally within eight semesters of full-time study.
The 2025 curriculum is designed based on the scientific vision of the program: to produce graduates with reflective pedagogical competence, local wisdom, and a global outlook grounded in national values.
The curriculum structure consists of:
136 compulsory credits, covering history education, pedagogy, research methodology, digital literacy, and civic and character education.
24 elective credits, allowing students to explore specialized interests such as Digital Pedagogy, Historiopreneurship, and Public History.
This curriculum adopts an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, emphasizing measurable and integrated Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) across academic, pedagogical, socio-cultural, and professional competencies. Graduates are expected to become history educators, historical analysts, or historiopreneurs who are reflective, innovative, and adaptive to the dynamics of the modern era.
